Accounting Manager

Immediate need !! Accounting Manager

PrideStaff Financial is seeking an Accounting Manager for a local non-profit cultural organization based in Palm Beach, Florida that provides cultural and educational programs and enriches lives through the arts.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting

- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and all internal controls

- Create and distribute accurate financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

- Monitor cash flows and forecast future financial needs

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

- 5+ years of experience in accounting management

- Payroll process experience a must; Paychex or any other payroll system experience

- Proficient in Blackbaud – Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge experience a MUST

- Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial issues collaboratively

- Highly organized with strong multi-tasking abilities to manage priorities effectively

- Meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions

- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and accounting standards

- Ability to distribute clear, concise and meaningful financial reports
