Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to join our team. As a heavy equipment mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of heavy equipment. This is a temp to hire position and rates will depend on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Perform PM tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, and electrical issues
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior maintenance staff
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service skills
