Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Power Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the design, simulation, and development of electric vehicles for various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive systems, EV (Electrical Vehicle) subsystems and components, their control and related hardware and will have practical experience in EV platform development. As an Electric Vehicle Power Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical platforms.
Qualification and Skills:
•    BE or Master’s degree in Power Electronics Engineering 
•    Minimum of 5+ years related experience and/or equivalent combination of Industry.
•    Experience in Transportation domain of, automotive, Aerospace and defense and/or Rail Electric vehicle in Inversion & Conversion, Battery charger/Management system applications
•    Expertise in various Power Electronics Converter topologies (Non-isolated and Isolated DC/DC Converters, DC/AC Inverters), Power device like MOSFETS, IGBT, SiC etc and EMI/EMC filter
•    Expertise in Motor control and Algorithm development.        
•    Proficiency in design and analysis of EV system for optimized Size, weight, Power and cost.
•    Experience in magnetic design is added advantage.
•    Experience in Simulation (MATLAB, p-Spice and LtSpice), analysis, modeling as part of design and development

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Review the Automotive Power electronics such as EV components/product requirements, create technical specification, architecture design complying with requirements.
•    Design and develop system and subsystem architecture to meet given performance. 
•    Expertise with Power electronics (Non-isolated and Isolated DC/DC Converters, DC/AC Inverters)– Device selection, Converter Design, Modelling, and Analysis
•    Expertise in Machines -Design and Control of various motors such as  IM, PMSM, BLDC motor and  Control algorithm development.
•    Battery – Modelling and Design with specifications (SOC and SOH estimation)
•    On-board and off-board chargers: Power converters and magnetics -Design, Modelling, and Analysis
•    Select appropriate components (battery, motor, controller, inverters, dc-dc converters, harness) for safe and optimal system performance. 
•    Expertise in Advanced Simulation tools such as MATLAB, PSPICE, LT SPICE, ANSYS.
•    Design and develop required control circuit. 
•    Provide detailed circuit analysis, Stress analysis, simulations, Worst case circuit analysis.
•    Optimize control algorithm to maximize battery run time. 
•    Perform subsystem and system level testing to ensure its performance in real time. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems with vehicle electrical architecture. 
•    Document system design, control algorithms, and code for internal and external reference. 
•    Ensure that the EV system meets safety standards and regulatory requirements for automotive applications.
