Position Title: Dietary/Dish
Department: Dietary
Reports To: Dietary Manager
FLSA Designation: Non Exempt

Results Statement: I am accountable for producing the following results:

assist in all areas of preparation and serving of food. The dietary aide also performs a variety of cleaning related duties and works with all other personnel in the dietary department to insure that the preparation and cleanup of meals flows smoothly. As a dietary aide you are to work in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by your Manager and/or the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist the cook in the preparation of meals.
• Deliver food to residents.
• Clean dishes and maintain a clean kitchen workspace.
• Participate in educational in-service opportunities.
Other duties may be assigned.

Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Flexibility with work hours and work duties.

Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
