Qualification

Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree (preferred) and 5-10 years’ experience or the equivalent work experience of four (6) years in land development and/or public works. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training is required with registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred.

Completed coursework in the following areas desired:

· Transportation and highway engineering

· Hydrology and hydraulics·

Geotechnical engineering

· Surveying

Experience must include:

· Ability to take plans from conceptual design to final plans

· Preparation and processing of plans for commercial and/ residential land development projects, including roadway, utility, grading and drainage design.

· Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures in the Tucson Area is preferred.

CAD/Civil3D experience is required.

A good driving record is required.
