Line Cook

We are looking for professional line cooks to join our team and prepare food to Wentworth Golf Club specifications. Full or Part time available. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. Quality and consistency is key to this position. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and high culinary standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

• Prepares and cooks food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.

• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

Required Skills/Abilities (education, prior work experience, special skills, etc.)

• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

• Ability to work as a team member

• High school diploma or GED

• 1-2 years experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook

• Certificate or degree in Culinary Arts preferred

• Experience with various cooking methods and procedures and familiar with industry best practices
