Industrial Construction Safety

Job Type: 9 months contract (potential to extend) Note: Please note that the setting/office is in a construction trailer as of now. Responsibilities: Work with contractors to implement construction safety mgmt system & other safety requirements on the construction sites. Provide safety leadership for new construction including mechanical & electrical equipment installation. Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical & electrical equipment installation. Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness & accuracy of work being performed. Requirements: Required Qualifications: The level of experience expected is between 5 to 10 years Safety engineering degree is not required but considered a plus. OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades. Experience with various parts of construction: site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical. Experience reviewing and verifying JSA's developed by contractors. Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint & Excel Additional Desired Qualifications: BlueBeam / AutoDesk Build Experience Greenfield site experience Experience working on multiple projects on same site
