Patient Care Specialist - Call Center

Description:

- Handle patient equipment repair phone calls requesting repair or service of equipment. Process orders, schedule visits, process equipment to send out for repairs, and track various orders and returns.

- Basic trouble shooting of PAP machines

- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all applicable insurance guidelines respecting eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.

- Responsible for entering data in an accurate manner, into database including although not limited to payer, authorization requirements, coverage limitations and status of any requalification

Qualifications:

2+ years Customer service in a call center setting

Microsoft Suite (1+ year)

Best:

Comes from a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance.

1+ year healthcare related experience in a call center environment

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM on-site.
