Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking a professional and courteous Medical Front Desk Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients and visitors.

As a Medical Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide our patients with a warm welcome, efficiently manage appointments, and handle various administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments using our electronic health records system.

- Verify patient information and update records as necessary.

- Answer phone calls, providing assistance and directing calls to appropriate staff.

- Process patient arrivals and departures efficiently.

- Handle co-pays, billing inquiries, and insurance verification.

- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.

- Provide administrative support to healthcare staff as needed.

- Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all communications and records.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in medical administration is a plus.

- Previous experience in a medical front desk or customer service role preferred.

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is beneficial.
