Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Coordinate consistent commercial and technical offerings across the region
  • Provide consistency in pricing and gross margin within the target corridors on project profitability.
  • Support, mentor, and train Regional Sales Engineers
  • Prioritize and drive regional equipment sales activities within resource constraints.
  • Support Sales Engineers with customer escalation issues
  • Support the implementation of local equipment and service sales strategies
  • Implement the go-to-market tactics to achieve sales growth and expand market reach.
  • Set and track performance against sales targets and other KPIs
  • Position product offerings to maximize success against local competitive landscape.
  • Facilitate key account management role ensuring customers are informed of all of company’s products/ services available
  • Ensure coordination between product development and sales, determine impact on Intake and Sales Budgets
  • Support product development projects and contribute to define priorities with a product management role
  • Ensure a "One face to the Client" culture
  • Coordinate special pricing, stock machines, try-and-buy, etc. with BL Dairy SEP

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • University Degree in Engineering/Food Science/Business Administration or equivalent educational level
  • Min 5 years’ relevant experience and knowledge of the specific market and applications.
  • Strong Knowledge of the Customer base and Product Competitive Landscape
  • Sales professional with significant experience in steering a sales organization, incl. product management, within a product/sales matrix
  • Deep practical know-how of state-of-the-art sales process, organization methods and tools (e.g. ordering, pricing, CRM)  
  • Change management experience
  • Proven superior skills in international negotiation & contracting with customers in countries across the world
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • English proficiency
  • Deep understanding of business on a local scale with developed focus on customer needs and fulfilment of customer expectations
  • Open-minded and solution oriented, strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player, good networker and negotiator 
  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong, tactful salesperson
  • Strong customer orientation - Ability to engage with customers at all levels
  • Leadership skills, entrepreneurial competencies 
  • 50-70% overnight travel capability
