Shipping Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Job Title: Shipping Specialist

Department: Shipping

Hours: M-F; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour

Summary: To create and maintain shipping excellence by working together as a team to make sure both manufactured and resale products get out the door in a neat package, on time and error free.

Job Duties 

· Manufacturing Shipper

· Print pick list and match work orders from manufacturing.

· Handle export paperwork.

· Packing

· Pulling

· Highlight special instructions.

· Re-box/Label

· Neatly package and label boxes. Keep weights manageable. Know plain and private labels.

· Run reports at the end of the day.

Education and/or Experience:

Mathematical Skills:

1) Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

2) Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds and ask for assistance if needed lifting and/or moving more than 50 pounds. The employee is expected to use proper ergonomic lifting and operating a hoist or forklift if material is extremely heavy.
