Job Title: Material Handler (1st Shift)
Location: Irvine, CA
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm - M-F (Some overtime as needed)
Hourly Rate: $19 per hour
Job Description:
- Ensure production departments are well stocked with necessary materials.
- Maintain merchandise flow through production systems.
- Perform quality control checks.
- Receive and process purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming orders for accuracy.
- Unwrap, inspect, and reconcile vendor orders.
- Wrap, inspect, and label finished parts.
- Process receipts and organize stock locations.
- Pick parts and perform cycle counting.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Identify missing or damaged products.
- Transport materials using equipment.
- Drive between multiple warehouses.
- Participate in problem-solving and process improvement.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Act as a key holder and maintain building security.
Required Skills:
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Compliance with safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
