Job Details
  • Ensure plant compliance with customer-specific quality systems and requirements.
  • Lead the development of production documentation, including Control Plans, DVP&R, PFMEA, and Standardized Work, meeting PPAP requirements.
  • Monitor customer-supplied warranty data and supplier PPAP files, taking necessary actions.
  • Oversee process audits and finished product inspections to maintain quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Quality and Quality Manager to establish internal quality control standards for the plant.
  • Ensure all associates effectively use and maintain quality systems and procedures.
  • Communicate significant quality issues across all levels of the organization.
  • Foster partnership-style relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with plant team members to address daily challenges and enhance product and process quality.
  • Travel occasionally to assembly plants to review products and engage with customer personnel.
  • Maintain knowledge of government-required testing, reporting, and recordkeeping per FMVSS-205, ECER43, CCC, and other country regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or related fields
  • 2 or more years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
