DescriptionIdaho National Laboratory is hiring a Construction Project Manager to work in our Project Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our WCB facility with every other Friday off.Within J100, Infrastructure Transformation Program (ITP), leads the J130 Construction Project Management group of project managers assigned to Facility & Site Services (F&SS).Responsibilities Include:Working in concert with the J100 Strategic Planning and Portfolio Manager, assigns projects to J130 aligned project managers, tracks workloads, and reporting of project metrics.Establish and maintain strong and effective customer relations.Support the development of project specific Project Management (PM) Plans and reports on resources in accordance with those plans.Provide guidance to Project Managers and directs /approves any tailoring of project process or procedures within the PM Management System.Participate in a integrated project teams across technical disciplines and support functions including financial, quality, procurement, regulatory, etc. to deliver infrastructure projects within the F&SS project portfolio that translates Portfolio Management strategies into actions for implementation. Review and comment on the weekly project manager reporting input.Review and comment on the monthly project manager input reporting into Empower database supporting F&SS monthly project review.Lead monthly F&SS project reviews.Responsible to PMs, Portfolio Manager, and associated Cost Accounting contacts for funding source identification, funding options, and appropriate funding/bid strategies, and cost controls for assigned projects.Represent INL in project related discussions with customers and stakeholders.Actions have visibility and requires interaction with the senior leadership team.Work is performed without appreciable direction. Subject to functional policies and goals, and senior management direction.
