Compensation

  • $19.56-$31.94/hr. based on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $2.00/hr.
  • Night differential $2.50/hr.
  • Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

We have Endoscopy Services at both the Porter and Healthplex Campuses. The Porter Campus has four endoscopy rooms and one eye laser room. One endoscopy room is equipped for both general anesthesia and fluoroscopy. The Healthplex Campus has one endoscopy room equipped for general anesthesia. Both campuses have travel carts available for procedures outside of the department including OR, ER, and ICU.   Our services encompass anything done via endoscope including GI, Pulmonary, and Urology. We also assist in special procedures including pain management, eye lasers, bone marrow aspiration, and prostate biopsies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.
  • Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
Qualifications:

Education

  • completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program,
  • achieved national certification in surgical technology preferred,
  • or have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.

Experience

  • must have completed accredited Surgical Technologist program,
  • or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech,
  • or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
  • National Certification is highly preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

 

Licensure / Certification

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. 
  • If Certified Surgical Technologist must have current certification. 
  • Currently Oklahoma LPN license required, if applicable.
