Retail Warehouse Associate

Company Overview: Join a leading retail warehouse specializing in clothing, beauty products, makeup, shoes, and accessories. 

SHIFT:

• Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:45 pm.
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Job Description: Candidates will receive cross-training across various departments. Once assigned, team leads will assign employees to specific departments based on operational needs. Employees will not have the option to select their preferred department assignment.

Outbound Department:

• Engage in physical work involving frequent lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Build pallets and shrink-wrap products coming down the conveyor belt.
• Operate a manual pallet jack to transport materials.
• Handle multiple production lines, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting volume demands.
• Stack boxes strategically in trailers, maximizing space like a Tetris game.
• Maintain high standards of organization and efficiency within the trailer area.

VAS (Value Added Services) Department:

• Open and process boxes from the conveyor belt, performing quality control checks and tagging returned items.
• Prepare shoes for sale by removing plastics, tagging, and packaging according to specific instructions.
• Work efficiently to meet daily quotas of processing pairs of shoes.
• Ensure accurate sorting and recycling of plastics and papers.
• Perform repetitive tasks standing in one area, maintaining focus on quality and productivity.

Shipping Department:

• Unload and load boxes manually, using a manual pallet jack to transport items.
• Engage in lifting, bending, and loading activities throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate scanning and organization of shipments.

Beauty Packing Department:

• Operate in a stationary department, performing repetitive tasks such as matching pack slips to units and packaging products.
• Utilize designated workstations to ensure proper labeling, boxing, and sealing of customer orders.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets and shipment deadlines.
• Engage in specialized processes like gift wrapping and decorating for specific orders.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet daily production quotas.
• Experience with manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
