CMM Quality Mechanical Inspector

Job Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Inspector to perform detailed and accurate mechanical inspections using advanced measuring tools and techniques.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a mechanical inspector.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience with CMM and familiarity with Hexagon PC-DMIS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform critical measurements using CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, tool maker’s mic, gage blocks, gage pins, height stand, fixtures, and other measurement tools.
• Conduct CMM probe builds and calibrations.
• Develop, verify, and modify CMM programs at the controls, prove-out programs to produce quality-compliant FAI’s, CPK’s, PQ’s, OQ’s, and IQ’s.
• Perform FAI, Gage R&R, PQ, OQ, and IQ inspections.
• Design and procure fixturing based on part geometry using knowledge of standardized CMM fixturing.
• Expertise in performing GD&T measurement to verify compliance of detailed part components.
• Maintain an accurate library of programs and written setup instructions for all CMM and OGP programs.
• Assist product engineers and manufacturing in the analysis of dimensional inspection data.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing and verifying CNC programs on CMM and OGP.
• Sound knowledge and expertise in performing GD&T measurements.
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in QMS/Regulatory environments.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour
