Position Title: Senior Cost Accountant
Job Purpose: Join the dynamic team as the Senior Cost Accountant, where you'll lead financial initiatives, drive cost efficiencies, and conquer challenges in internal accounting and budgeting. Take part in 3 weeks PTO, 4% 401k matching, 10 paid holidays, and medical, dental, vision insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain inventory costs and systems.
- Analyze costs for materials, labor, and more, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate inventory valuations and production reports for actionable insights.
- Generate product costing estimates and collaborate on pricing strategies.
- Optimize margins by product and customer for maximum profitability.
- Streamline manufacturing operations and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Conduct life cycle cost-benefit analyses to drive strategic decisions.
- Master the ERP system for enhanced efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing
