Robert Half has an exciting opportunity at a Wholesale Distribution company for an experienced Administrative Assistant who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will take charge of a number of different office support and administrative duties as the Administrative Assistant. Do your talents include mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design? Then we have the Administrative Assistant position for you. This Administrative Assistant role is a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity and is located in the Orangevale, California area.
Your responsibilities
- Receive and tend to visitors
- Assist other employees with diverse projects
- Answer telephone calls and return voicemails
- Organize word processors, files, and faxes- Customer service experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- General familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Email Correspondence experience preferred
- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Inbound Outbound Calls experience highly desired
- Proficiency in data entry
- Answering Inbound Calls experience desired
- Schedule Appointments experience highly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
- Ability to use the internet for research
