Job Description
The Junior Planner will play a critical role in supporting the planning and scheduling of manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Will work with the procurement team to follow through on deadlines and expected ship dates from vendors to ensure timely completion. Collaborates with the operation’s teams to answer questions. Pro actively communicate shipping and material arrival delays. Work with the warehouse team to verify raw material to plan jobs accordingly. Work within the planning team to shift work orders and manufacturing schedules to meet production needs. Must have working knowledge of ERP and/or MRP. Collaborate with senior planners and production managers to develop production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability. Assist in optimizing production efficiency and minimizing lead times. Maintain and update production schedules using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software systems. Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.Great benefits.
