Job Title: CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Technician

Summary:

Join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and execution of CNC systems for our manufacturing operations. As a CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Technician, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining CNC programs, assisting in product design, operating in a team environment, and providing valuable input for design solutions from a manufacturing perspective. Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive "Standard" nesting library for common parts.
Create, debug, and validate CNC programs using RADAN software and Salvagnini proprietary software.
Configure manufacturing equipment for new designs and tooling setups.
Provide assistance in maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate closely with Production Scheduling to ensure alignment with production needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Conduct frequent quality checks to uphold standards.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Cross train on various machines and platforms to enhance versatility.
Actively seek out opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction across manufacturing, engineering, and sales.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC programming, setup, machining, and debugging of programs related to Punch Press, Shear, Folding, and Plasma cutting equipment.
At least 2 years of programming experience using RADAN or Salvagnini proprietary code; experience with Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD, PRO-E, or SolidWorks will also be considered.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, process improvements, and post-process work.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to thrive in a team environment, collaborating effectively with suppliers and other stakeholders according to company policies and procedures.
