We are seeking a skilled Engineer Technician with a strong background in machining to join our dynamic team. This role combines traditional engineering technician responsibilities with hands-on machining tasks, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to both design and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and proficiency in operating various machining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Support:
Assist engineers in designing, testing, and modifying products, components, and systems.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions.
Utilize CAD software to create and modify design drawings as required.
Machining Operations:
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Produce precision components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections and quality checks on machined parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
Document and report any discrepancies or defects identified during the inspection process.
Work closely with the quality control team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and performing tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to machining and engineering to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:

Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machining Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Engineer Technician or Machinist, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with engineering design principles.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
