Machine Operator

Essential Functions depending on position:

• Reading information from job tickets, acquire needed materials, load equipment with product and print files.
• Perform routine maintenance on schedule and according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
• Monitor stock within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality.
• Understand the machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality. Care and maintenance of equipment
• Ensures that the job is set up properly.
• Accountable to calibrate the digital press at a minimum in-between jobs.
• Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
• Complies with established safety procedures and policies.
• Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Performs other job duties as assigned

Skills:

• Strong math skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
• Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work.

The company was founded in 1997. It all began in an apartment with a dream and with an understanding of printing. Steve worked in the industry and saw a need for customized sheet labels of any size or shape. By thinking outside the box we developed materials not available elsewhere. In 2008, the company moved to Benton City, WA and built a facility with the ability to expand.
