Teller / Member Solutions Representative, Rochester 19th Street Office, Rochester MN

Altra Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Teller / Member Solutions Representative at our Rochester 19th Street location in Rochester, MN. Persons excelling in this position provide professional, friendly service, information, assistance to others, and set the standard of service our members have come to expect in visiting any Altra office location. The Full Time Teller / Member Solutions Representative, will welcome the members into the office, monitor and facilitate lobby traffic and assist members with in-branch technology by asking questions to determine the nature of the member's visit to the office.

Member Solutions Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting members on how to use assisted self-service technology
• Processing mail and night drop transactions
• Processing savings bond redemption
• Conducting account research
• Gift card sales
• Notary service
• Cashier's checks
• ATM, vault, coin machine and teller cash recycler balancing, as needed
• Process Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)
• Process Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• Assist members with checking and savings account inquiries
• Assist Mortgage Services, Business Services and Office Managers with various tasks

Qualified candidates are required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and at least one (1) year of experience in a financial service environment. Must have excellent customer service skills, good communication and writing skills, professional telephone etiquette, ability to plan, organize and prioritize work. Basic overall knowledge of all credit union products and services is a plus.

This position is full time, 40-hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the operating hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and will require some flexibility within these hours, as needed for office meetings before or at the end of the day.

Pay and Benefits:

• Competitive starting pay of $18.08+ per hour, depending on experience
• When bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, receive a $1.00 / hour pay premium after completing and passing the language exam

High School or GED (required)
