Shipping Clerk  - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, a reputable logistics company, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As an Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of outbound shipping processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk 

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $20/hr - base + incentives
Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 2:00PM-Completion approximately 10hours per day.

• Print and sign driver paperwork for outbound shipments.
• Troubleshoot container contents for loaders to ensure accurate shipments.
• Plan and release waves of outbound shipments to optimize efficiency.
• Prepare for the start of the day by organizing shipping materials and equipment.
• Close out shipping processes at the end of the day, ensuring all paperwork and shipments are properly accounted for.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
