Cetra Ruddy is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with experience in healthcare, cultural, educational, or institutional projects. Working directly with the Principal-in-Charge & the firm's Partners, the successful candidate will lead the interior design of a large institutional project. You will interface directly with Clients, Collaborations, and Senior Officials while collaboratively leading a team of experienced designers to develop and execute the design.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Interiors Design Director for the development of the design direction for the project. You will lead the planning, designing, and furnishing of the interiors, formulating designs which are practical and meet the project's requirements while also pursuing excellence in design, and will direct and lead the team in preparation for client presentations. 

As a leader in the firm, your impact is expected to carry beyond projects to the firm level, with a demonstrated interest for mentorship and a desire to participate in the ongoing efforts to improve the firm's process and tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Licensure a plus, but not a requirement.
  • 12+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated design sensibility, graphic ability, and strength of technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client presentations and to communicate effectively. 
  • Computer skills must include AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage a design team, developing and overseeing their work plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently design & manage multiple projects and deadlines autonomously. 
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, relationship management, and mentoring skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio

Pay Range: The base salary will be estimated between $110,000 - $140,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience
