Medical Assistant - Full-time

One of Los Angeles County’s leading hospitals is looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant with expertise in blood / lab draws, venipunctures and can assist 100+ patients per day in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidate must be available to float between clinic locations.

Medical Assistant duties will include greet patients, set up exam rooms, taking vital signs, administer immunizations, injections and oral medications, draw and prepare lab work or specimens and other Medical Assistant duties.

Pay Rate Range: $23.00 /hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 5:00PM
City:  Tarzana, CA

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or national certification is required.
• Phlebotomy certification highly preferred, demonstrated experience in blood draws and lab procedures.
• Proficiency in handling Quest Diagnostic lab submissions.
• Knowledge about medical insurance, benefit plans, and referral processes.
• Familiarity with CS-Link/EPIC system preferred.
