We are seeking a Producer to join our amazing team! You will be responsible for generating new business and helping the agency to grow, as well as helping customers by providing product and service information. The right candidates will help grow our agency by engaging new prospects ,working internet leads,and building valuable relationships within our community, while providing a wide range of multiple carrier insurance and financial service products designed to help protect families, homes, vehicles, small businesses and retirement plans. ???Qualifications:

  • Ability to build rapport with clients,prioritize and multitask.
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Must be willing to pass the state of Texas insurance licensing exam (if not already licensed)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Applications: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Possess attention to detail and follow-up capabilities
  • Proficiency in operating personal computers and performing routine calculations

Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurancequotes, makes sales presentations, and closesales.
  • Developongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.

Requirements

  • Must havean upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Create relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

  • Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Ability to obtain or possess a Life & Health Insurance license.
