Financial Controller

Hybrid - Remote

A thriving, not-for-profit community hospital has a new opening for a Financial Controller. This position oversees the accounting functions of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Accounts Payable within the department for all organizational system entities. All functions shall be managed in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) guidelines as well as other State and Federal Regulatory Agencies as applicable. Additionally, the Financial Controller maintains responsibility over development and guidance to the team, accuracy of financial statements, and timely recording of internal audits, controls, and checks across departments. The Financial Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer managing the financial operations, budgets, audits, and financial planning.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Position: Hybrid -Remote: with 2-4 days onsite bi-weekly depending on board meetings/department needs.

Location: Rocky Mountain Region

Hospital Finance Stats:

• Fiscal Year Runs:
• Cash on Hand: 50+ days.
• Patient Revenue: 3.5 million
• Finance Department Staff: 1-2 Accountants, Accounts Payable Clerk and Payroll Clerk.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in accounting, required.
• Masters in Business Administration, preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant, preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within an acute care facility required.

Compensation:

• Salary: $45.00-$68.00 per hour
• Relocation assistance
