This is a 70+bed, nonprofit organization. It is an acute care hospital. This hospital has secured the highest level of certification for Geriatric Fracture Care Programs as recognized by the IGFS CORE Certification Program. It has also been recognized for Patient Safety Excellence Award.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing standards for nursing practice for the service.
- Directs and coordinates the nursing care given and all aspects of management for the department
- Adheres to hospital policies and standards
- Developing and managing the department budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures
- Collaborating with hospital leadership to develop strategic goals and initiatives for the perioperative department, aligning with the overall mission and objectives of the organization
Qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Nursing, or BSN preferred
- CA RN license
- ACLS and BLS Certification required
- 5 years operating room experience
- Prior managerial experience required
