Senior Accountant

HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.

Currently we are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calculating, posting, and reviewing financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing
  • Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
  • Audits contracts, orders and vouchers; Assists in preparation of governmental surveys
  • Assists with document preparation for financial statement audit
  • Functions as a back-up for in-house payroll preparation
  • Meets with internal Project Managers to collect information for use in monthly revenue recognition and accruals
  • Conducts surveys of systems within operations to ascertain needs of organization
  • Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts.
  • Produce reports for management.
  • Analyze project financial information.
  • Maintain the general ledger numbers in Database and Solomon.
  • Available for Accounts Payable questions.
  • Assist in devising and implementing accounting control procedures.
  • Provide accounting support for other departments.
  • File government surveys.
  • Assist with other as needed.
  • Assist with the external audit, bank audit, etc.
  • Prepare analyses of accounts.
  • Prepare executive summaries.
  • Assist in consolidating activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Other duties and projects may be assigned.
