Compounding Supervisor

ABOUT THE JOB

The Compounding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the compounding process in the manufacturing facility. This team member will lead a team of technicians to ensure the accurate planning, organizing, coordinating, preparing, and mixing of materials according to specified formulas and production schedules.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Supervise and coordinate compounding activities to meet production schedules.
• Train and mentor compounding technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Ensure that all compounding processes meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize compounding processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot any issues and drive process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree or GED with leadership experience in manufacturing facility or 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience in related duties.
• Proven experience in compounding and blending within a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain current food handlers permit, forklift certification and HAZMAT certification.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, compounding, issuing and material processes
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Perform routine mathematical calculations; perform weight and volume conversions.
• Maintain confidentiality in relation to proprietary formulas, methods, processes, and procedures.
