Position – Maintenance Technician

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – Immediately

Employment Term – Temp to Hire/Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 12 hour shift, 2-2-3 6 pm

Starting Pay – Staring at $31

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED, Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Maintenance degree a plus

Required Experience – 3 years’ experience required in lieu of post HS education

This is an hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. This position repairs and maintains various machines on the floor. manual machines (lathes, mills, drill press) and general repair on machines and die cast dies.

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and repairs on machines as needed

- Set up tooling required for each operation

- Write reports and documentation, train groups as needed

- Troubleshoot all equipment out on plant floor

Qualifications:

- Must be able to read, write and speak English and interpret manuals

- Must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics

- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and effectively navigate around machines

- Good math skills (Geometry/Trigonometry)

- Must be willing to adhere and promote safety in all job functions

- Requirement to possess, or obtain, an associate degree, Millwright or Journey card
