Project Manager 23-0024

Vali Incorporated is currently in search of a qualified Project Manager based at Fort Huachuca. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing contract execution, with the authority to allocate personnel, manage supplies, subcontracts, and financial resources to meet contractual obligations. The Project Manager will be actively involved in project planning, estimation, negotiations, execution, closeout, and associated administrative support, ensuring the final approval of all project activities.

Key responsibilities include managing project support requirements, overseeing personnel payroll services, coordinating with material suppliers and home offices, implementing quality control and safety programs, and engaging small and small disadvantaged business subcontractors. The Project Manager will also serve as the main point of contact with the Contracting Officer, providing guidance to subordinate staff to cultivate positive relations. The role involves ensuring compliance with Government requirements, meeting project milestones in a timely manner, and collaborating with Government representatives to develop future workload plans.

The scope of the contract encompasses various facets of base operations, such as program management, facilities engineering services management, solid waste management, grounds maintenance, snow, ice, and sand removal, facilities maintenance (including medical/hospital facilities for the Defense Health Agency), maintenance of surfaced and unsurfaced areas, heating/cooling services, water services, wastewater services, other utility services, environmental services, pest management, and Demand Maintenance Order (DMO). The Project Manager will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, prioritizing safety, optimizing business processes, enhancing performance metrics, and ensuring a superior level of support to the customer.

Key Qualifications:

• Eight (8) years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance-related work.
• Five (5) years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience overseeing the performance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
