Retail Inventory Supervisor
Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, retail locations in Kalkaska, East Lansing, Kalamazoo, Pinconning, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills, who can manage all inventory processes and procedures, and support with managing a team. Position Summary:
- Become a subject matter expert in metric and Cova POS.
- Accurately record, track, and maintain all inventory related data through metric and Dutchie POS.
- Help receive large shipments and bring it through our systems with accuracy and organization.
- Regularly count cannabis inventory, analyzes sales records and compare them to physical dispensary inventory.
- Support Inventory Manager to identify and reconcile any discrepancies with Compliance.
- Maintain detailed and accurate recordkeeping, with large amounts of data entry.
- Monitor transfers from vault to sales floor to ensure inventory process is being followed.
- Maintains an Expiration Log of aging or expiring inventory, facilitates a monthly Aging Inventory Report and review process and communicates sell-through/promotional status of products to Store Manager and Purchasing Team
- Support the Inventory Manager in Coaching and developing the team while supporting our company values.
- Check cash drawers and prepare bank deposits, follow steps needed for accounting.
- Address customer and employee complaints.
- Ensure all opening/closing duties are completed.
- Ability to perform all duties of fulfillment/cashier/budtender/delivery to assist as needed.
- Provide direction and feedback to employees during shifts.
- Note: The primary position responsibilities outlined above are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be required depending on the volume and complexity of the store.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office, Microsoft excel, and learning new software and technology.
- Ability to work at a very fast pace with accuracy.
- Experience with Weedmaps, metric, Alpine IQ, Cova or Dutchie POS preferred.
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain focus, and strong organizational skills.
- Maintains a flexible and open schedule availability, night, and weekends.
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 20 lbs. multiple times daily.
- Experience in a regulated industry.
