We are looking for an experienced hands-on Electrical Journeyman to plan, layout, install and repair wiring, electrical devices, and control equipment by performing the following duties. The ideal candidate would be a team player, able to work independently, as well as able to work with high attention to detail in a safe manner.

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team! You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are a Journeyman Electrician with a can-do attitude who takes pride in his work, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

• Heavy Tenant Improvement experience
• Quality workmanship and attention to detail
• (Prefer) Current Journeymen Electrician's license issued by the State of California
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods
• Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations
• Strong knowledge and experience related to planning and layout, scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations
• Willingness to lead and mentor apprentices and other team members
• Recent experience as an electrician working on commercial and industrial projects

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ability to prepare project takeoffs for material and labor
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair commercial electrical
• Plan new or modify existing projects to minimize waste of materials, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, industry standards, and local/ national codes.
• Prepares sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that company processes and guidelines are adhered to.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit and cable.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus.
• Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
• Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
• Operate diagnostic tools, meters, etc.
• Operate machinery related to pulling wire, wire tracers, scissor lift, and boom lift.
