Framing Carpenter

Impresa Building Systems is new to the Greenwood area, and we are excited to grow our team. We build houses indoors, taking stress off of both workers and materials in our state of the art facility. We are building a robust team with an incredible culture. We are looking for someone to join our carpentry team in primarily a framing carpentry capacity. For this position, you must be able to read a tape measure and have at least some carpentry experience.

We are comfortable training someone who may be green, but would appreciate a candidate with at least basic foundations.

Above all, we are looking for someone reliable and hardworking. You will work on a variety of framing projects, including wall framing, roof framing, floor framing, and interpreting blueprints for accurate construction. Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can handle a variety of tasks. We are willing to train the right person; all we ask is that you are reliable and dedicated.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform framing work according to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install various types of framing components in our units
- Collaborate with others to complete framing projects
- Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite

Framing Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications:

- Keen attention to detail
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools
- Basic trade tools; all other tools are provided by Impresa
- Troubleshooting and communication skills
- Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces
