Machine Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team at our facility located in Franklin, IN, 46131. As an Operator, you will be responsible for performing machine setups for production runs, utilizing your mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ensuring excellent communication within the team. Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are prepared
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during production, making necessary adjustments and repairs
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors regarding production progress and any issues that may arise
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Monitor and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Assist in packaging and labeling finished products as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Document production data and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Prior experience in machine setups for production runs
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in packaging is highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
