PAY, BENEFITS, and SCHEDULE

Our starting pay for our housekeeper / cleaner position is $12 an hour plus tips and bonuses, paid weekly. This is a full-time position, up to 40 hours per week, with paid training. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) EST. Weekend hours may be available if desired. Shifts include morning and afternoon blocks with a potential afternoon shift beginning no later than 5PM.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPRUCE IT SERVICES CLEANER / HOUSEKEEPER

You are proud to be an employee of such a well-run company. You understand that being a housekeeper is a physically demanding job, and you prepare yourself well to handle each day's workload. You travel to and from client's service locations to provide services for basic cleanings, move-in/move-out cleanings, and deep cleanings.

You are notified about jobs through email before the appointment and you arrive on time in your own transportation with all the cleaning supplies that you need to complete the job. You plan to have an average of 4 assigned cleaning jobs per day ranging from 1.5 to 2 hours. You are responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home/apartment/condo are cleaned thoroughly. Normal job duties include: sweeping, dusting, mopping and other basic janitorial/cleaning tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old with verifiable references and job history
• Ability to work alone on most jobs or with partners if needed
• Must have a valid email address to receive job notification and details to confirm appointments
• Ability to be punctual and possession of strong time management skills
• Ability to cope with problems, emergencies, and make effective decisions
• Hard working, trustworthy, reliable, extremely detail-oriented, and positive
• Must have valid driver's license and own personal, reliable means of transportation and with space to haul your cleaning supplies (Rideshare, bus, train, or other forms of transportation that can cause delays are not acceptable).
• Must be physically able to complete tasks relevant to the position including lifting up to 50lbs as needed (usually no more than 10lbs)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability and willingness to begin immediately
