Brake Press Operator

Nexeo is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for utilizing Amada Press Brakes, including models such as NC9-EX, 8020 NC, and/or HG 8025. Your main duties will include setting up tooling for each part, determining bend procedures, and running parts with a focus on quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have experience in press brake operation, preferably with knowledge of Amada RG, FDB, HG, or EG series press brakes. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, particularly in HVAC, and familiarity with laser operations are also advantageous.

Responsibilities

•Skillfully utilize Amada Press Brakes such as NC9-EX, 8020 NC, and/or HG 8025 to produce precision bends on sheet metal parts.

•Set up appropriate tooling for each part, determine the bending procedure, and run parts efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.

•Use squares, calipers, flat blocks, and other measurement tools to ensure bend tolerance and consistently deliver top-quality finished products.

•Collaborate with engineers and shift management, providing valuable feedback on part-related issues or procedural improvements to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interpret and complete written forms for internal work processes.

•Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including regular personal hygiene practices.

•Exhibit a strong sense of ethics and integrity, ensuring work is conducted with honesty and transparency.

•Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and efficiently handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Pay

$17.00-$25.00 Per Hour

Schedule

8:00am-4:30pm | Monday – Friday
