Interested in an education assignment in your surrounding area? Our client is seeking Full-Time Child Care Lead Teacher in the Washington, DC area. The teacher will provide support to children in various settings including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
* Communicate with the site director administration, fellow teachers, service staff, parents and guardians
* Write appropriate and targeted student progress reports
* Adapt your area of expertise to meet student learning needs
* Work with parents and other community members to meet student learning needs
* Preparing, implementing & recording daily lessons
* Share talents & skills to enhance the student's school program
* Be alert to individual student learning styles
* Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings; provide instruction of students by developing, selecting and modifying instructional plans and material and presenting them using instructional techniques which meet the needs of all students

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Commitment to the success of each and every student;
* Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member;
* Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families
* Associates degree (or higher) in early childhood education or enrolled in a degree program geared to obtaining Child Development Associate CDA with intensions of graduating in four years with a Bachelor's Degree
