Job Description

Job Description

At San Diego Foundation, we value our diverse and experienced staff who are committed to our mission of improving the quality of life within all of San Diego’s communities. We strive to be an employer of choice, offering a competitive compensation package, and a professional and vibrant work environment for those who have a passion for our mission that is carried out every day by providing leadership for effective philanthropy and promoting community solutions.

Program Background:

Retired professionals can positively impact our communities by sharing their experience, knowledge, and expertise. Often this wisdom is lost from the workforce upon retirement. The Community Impact Partners (CIP) program recognizes retired professionals as underutilized human resources and endeavors to creatively leverage their unique skills to produce positive outcomes in our communities.

We are seeking a retired professional to join a cohort of Community Impact Partners, fulfilling the mission of engaging retired older adults in addressing significant community issues, while leveraging their skills and experience.

This initiative was made possible through support from the Del Mar Healthcare Fund and inspired by related work taking place in Dayton Ohio. Please see the Del Mar Encore Fellows Initiative page at The Dayton Foundation for more information.
