Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and lifting techniques
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Skills:

• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems to document patient care
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
• Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary restrictions
• Understanding of assisted living and senior care principles
• Valid driver's license for transportation to patient homes or healthcare facilities
• Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required in patient care settings

Salary:$16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 32 per week
