This cooking position earns a competitive wage of $14 - $15 per hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN ASSISTANT / COOK

As a Kitchen Assistant / Cook, you arrive on time each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen is top quality food. You grill, fry, and prepare proteins, vegetables, and soups as well as plate desserts. To ensure guest satisfaction, you carefully follow recipes as well as assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. Your attentiveness to detail ensures that each dish meets our high cooking standards in every aspect as well as adheres to any special requests.

To make sure that properly cooked food gets out to our diners in a timely manner, you communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff while working in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner. In this food service role, you maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. You love the freedom that you have to try out new recipes and dishes. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers, members, and guests alike contribute greatly to the success of our restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COOK
