Highly Qualified Direct Support Professional (DSP)- Specialized Client Support

Do you have exceptional skills in providing clients with unique challenges?
Amanicare Services is seeking a dedicated and resourceful DSP to work with one client requiring specialized care. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional who can effectively command the attention of a mentally challenging client.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to once client, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
-Employ effective techniques to engage and command the attention of a mentally challenging client
-Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Develop and implement strategies to promote client independence and overall well-being
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and any concerns

Qualifications:
-Certification as a Direct Support Professional (DSP or equivalent training
-Minimum of 3 years of experience working with clients with mental challenges
-Exceptional ability to establish and build relationships with mentally challenging individuals
-Strong understanding of behavioral management techniques and de-escalation strategies
-Demonstrate resourcefulness and adaptability in managing challenging situations
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
