PV&V Planning/Reliability Engineer

Horicon, WI - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Horicon, Wisconsin. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operate in a team environment, provide input to design solutions, and participate in design reviews. Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs of broad scope.
  • Operate in a team environment within PV&V (Product Verification and Validation) and the design community.
  • Develop and execute test or analysis plans for product verification and validation.
  • Help establish short- and long-term objectives, goals, and priorities for the test lab.

Requirements:

  • 4-year engineering degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to write clearly and concisely to document test procedures.
  • Ability to lead and execute vehicle tests.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate within a cross functional team across multiple sites and drive results.
  • MS Office experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support field tests, etc.
  • Hands on skills and aptitude with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
