Night shift – Tool & Die maker - $19.34-$35.17/hr depending on experience - Lansing

Preferred Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Able to work overtime
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Comfortable working in a team and able to get along with coworkers
- Willingness to learn, grow, and develop skills
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in Tool and Die maker – 5 years preferred
- Active Journeymen’s card essential
- Must know how to operate a lathe, surface grinder, id/od grinder, mill, spotting press, radial arm drills and any other related tool room equipment
- Able to lift 50lbs, stand on feet for shift, bend, and twist at the waist
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Strong communication skills
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
A typical day working at this company looks like working Sunday through Thursday, plus overtime. There are lots of opportunities for double time! You will complete on-the-job training, and learn more skills to keep moving up the ranks. You will work within the Tooling Department to efficiently and effectively perform tool building and repairs that assures quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer’s expectation.
