What you will be doing:
- Oversee the quality and performance of Revenue Integrity operations including the CDM (Charge Description Master).
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in healthcare finance with focus on revenue cycle management. Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience can substitute educational requirement.
- Certified coder with either OP or IP coding experience required, prefer certification from AHIMA
- Detailed knowledge of the CDM, charge capture process, and operational issues related to the CDM required
- Demonstrated knowledge of CMS regulations, OIG compliance, and third-party requirements
- Ability to perform research with various published resources and internet access to associated information resources
- Ability to express ideas and communicate professionally, effectively, verbally and in writing, and to train others on technical matters
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
