Lead Line Cook/Prep Cook at The Village Butcher

The Village Butcher in Modesto, CA is looking for a Line Cook to join our team. Prior experience with catering, working the grill, Charcuterie, Grab & Go etc are helpful as we look to get our kitchen back to 100%. Our kitchen offers a wide range of opportunities, from BBQ, to fine dining, to charcuterie and cheese boards, so no day is ever the same. Responsibilities

·       Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

·       Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

·      Maintain a safe and clean workspace

·       Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards

Qualifications

·       Work in a professional kitchen, or similar experience, is preferred

·       High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines

·       Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume

·       Must have Food Handler card, or complete certificate with in 2 weeks

·       Ability to verify completion of COVID-19 vaccination
