Job Description
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Technician! The Technician is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of heavy duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Compensation - $26-$30: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
3rd Shift: Available - Friday - Tuesday: 11:00pm - 7:30am

What the Trailer Technician role looks like:
- Must have experience with welding and body repair
- Must have experience with roof replacements, bottom rail repairs, side panels and crossmembers.
- Must be able to perform tasks independently
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
- Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicle
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Must have at least 2 years' experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds
- Must provide own hand tools
- Perform DOT inspections
- Basic computer skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
